i would like to know - if i desolder STM32F103RBT6 from my Maple Rev5 and buy and solder STM32F103RET6 - i'll have Maple RET6 Edition or some more hardware changes is required?

I think there are no other changes. On the LeafLabs store website it says this about the RET6:
"We have not had a chance to make a whole new Maple version based around the RET6 yet. However, the two chips are pin compatible, so we have produced a limited run of standard Maple Rev5s where in place of the RBT6, we have substituted the RET6 processor! "
I have both boards (standard Rev5 and a RET6) and I didn't see any visual difference between the two.

thats right. no other changes. Thats why its a "RET6 Edition" rather than a fancy new product. Its a good thing too because the RET6 would have aged out very quickly now that an stm32f4 based Maple II is in the works!
