I was one of the people who was able to buy the maple mini at the attractive $25 mark. I though I had got myself a bargain. But things went wrong. it took 3 weeks before I go a leaflet though the door saying Customs had detained my 2 x Maple Mini's and the the royal mail wanted £14.19 before I could get the parcel. Ok so I am now paying $50 for the boards $14 for postage £6.19 for vat and then £8 for the royal mail handling fee. Not so cheap but ok for what I was getting. Then how sad I was when I opened the pacel to find only one maple mini. Where was the other one? Was it not packed? So I have ended up paying $86.80 for one maple mini and two sweets. not to happy. Please find a better way to send things to the UK and when someone order two, don't send then just one :(

LeafLabsI apologize that your order was incomplete! We try to be thorough during shipping but sometimes accidents happen. We will of course send along your missing Maple Mini ASAP.
Unfortunately at this time we can't offer any shipping options other than USPS. It is usually fairly prompt but customs hangups can be a problem no matter the shipping service. We don't have any UK distributors but we have two in Germany and one in Sweden; you may find ordering from one of them works better for you in the future. MemberIf you're not in a hurry, ordering from seeed can be just about the cheapest way to get things shipped to the UK ($2.58 for the mini I ordered recently). Of course there's no insurance for that price, but I've had quite a few things from them & not lost any yet.
Have also been hit with the customs charge for USPS shipping more often than not. That hasn't been the case with small electronics from China...
