STM32F4 discovery user and MAple IDE requests help.

Hi! My name is Steve. I recently got an STM32f4 discovery board and am very interested in using MAple IDE with it.

I am hoping someone could help me with how to get MAPLE IDE running on my board.
I have followedinstructions here:

From ala 42's amazing project. I have managed to burn the .bin file to my board which shows the orange LED flashing but am not sure how to get Maple running on the board...
Could anyone please help me install Maple IDE so I can use my board with this nice Arduino like IDE??
I am using windows XP.

Hi Mr Bulmer. Sorry for double posting.
So do these installation instructions work for the STM32f$ discovery board??
Like I say, I have managed to get the orange light blinking on my STM32f4 discovery after using the .bat file in the flash directory of ala42's project.
But how do I select my board from the maple IDE??( sorry I am thick.)

So do these installation instructions work for the STM32f$ discovery board??

I don't know, I haven't tried.
I have used the "raw" gcc toolchain which is included within the Maple IDE installation along with make, and then used texanes stlink utility at github to upload program onto STM32F4Discovery boards.

Maybe ala42 might comment?

I use Eclipse as IDE, as it allows debugging and use a makefile for building. For uploading binaries over SWD I use the STM command line tool for the ST-Link V2. You could also use DFU-util and the libusb driver installed with the zadig tool to upload over USB. You find some batch files for that at https://github.com/AeroQuad/AeroQuad/tree/development/BuildAQ32. You also find a newer libmaple in the neighbourhood.
