Programming without Maple IDE

Hello,

I recently acquired a Maple Rev5 and would like to start programming it. I have no interest in using the Maple IDE and would like to program it with C/C++, does anyone have an example or template project with a Makefile that shows linking in the libraries and uploading to the board?

Wow I had some time to go through that tonight and setting up the toolchain to get developing was real nice!
