### maple-ide
no 64bit builds, didn't test the 32bit build. still can't build the IDE without the Sun version of the Java JDK (need JDI support), though I did rebase my fork of the IDE which will at least attempt to create 64bit packages.
### cli build environment
followed the "Unix Toolchain Quickstart" for the most part.
have to kill and remove the "brltty" package (!!!): http://www.ladyada.net/learn/arduino/lesson0-lin.html
need to install dfu-util by hand to get an 0.6+ version; sudo aptitude install libusb-1.0-0-dev
first: http://dfu-util.gnumonks.org/
the "ia32-libs" library must be installed to use the 32bit arm toolchain, or you will get errors like "bash: ./arm-none-eabi-gcc: No such file or directory".
udev is restarted by "sudo /etc/init.d/udev restart", not "sudo restart udev". Though actually, I still haven't gotten the "plugdev" group to work, i'm just using the perpetual bootloader and "sudo screen /dev/ttyACM0".
