I see vintage computers are going for big bucks:

How long do you think it will take before collectors are beating my door down to buy my original Maple?

How long did it take for the lisp machine? I would love to get my hands on one of those.

As for Maple, the real collectors item is the rev1, with the mario leaf ;)

poslathian - do you mean the Symbolics Lisp Machine?

I heard a rumour a few years back that there are one or two still in working order in your area.

there are a couple of working lisp machines hanging around CSAIL, and it's a semi-popular undergrad project to DIY a simple version.

don't know whether they're original symbolics machines, though...
