   looks like the user was new (just joined today). so it seems that the bots are getting past our captcha. if this keeps up, and barring major objections, i think we should switch to reCAPTCHA:

   Yes, please use reCAPTCHA - anything that helps the written word survive is good in my book :-)

   ok. i've deleted the account. that way, when we get a better captcha, the spammers can't keep using their existing accounts.

   moderators: feel free to delete any account that posts spam.

    mbolivar, it seems I don't have the ability to delete accounts. I've removed the spam posted by "palette" and "wuai" but cannot delete their accounts.

    The spammer iguiyichm is replying to old posts. Really annoying since it messes up the "Freshness" column.

    Thanks. The freshness order seems to be restored as well.
    (There's one left in the Maple Mini for sale thread).
