We have been using GSM radios in various devices (wired up to Maple Minis!) for a while. However, dealing with all the SIM cards and network access gets to be cumbersome once you have more than a couple devices. Has anyone here had any experience with vendors that offer ICs/network plans that can scale gracefully to hundreds of devices?
I have heard rumours of GSM or CDMA IC's where the vendor manages the network access subscription for you centrally. This sounds perfect, but I cant find a public reference to it anywhere.
