   Hi,
   I've searched the forum topics and read the license page on your site, as well as the wiki pages, but I still do not have a clear picture of licensing. If there is a thread/page I missed please let me know and I will go there instead. The information I found leaves a lot of room for interpretation. The specific questions I have with respect to the maple are:

   1. Free to use as a hobbyist. I think this one fine.

   2. If I design a product as a hobbyist, and sell it to someone, is that someone entitled to any of my source code or hardware design?

   3. If I design a product as a business, and sell it to someone, is that someone entitled to any of my source code or hardware design?

   fair warning, i'm not a lawyer nor am i a leafblower, but...

   These files are released under the Creative Commons 3.0 AT-SA (attribution, share-a-like) license. You can see our most up to date development versions in our hardware repository.

   from the leaflabs footer:

   Unless otherwise noted all content on this website is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence 3.0

   so, for design files, i.e. if you make a derivative work of the board layout or schematic, then you may sell it with a similar share-alike license. it doesn't matter whether you are a hobbyist or a business. "any of [your] source" is a bit ambiguous.. they are certainly entitled to those portions of your source which are derivative works. depending on the project and its organization, this may or may not be all of your source.
