Sorry if this is somewhat off topic, but I am seeing very slow downloads to my board using Ubuntu Oneiric running in VMware. I don't see this if I am using Lucid in VMware, so I suspect that is is something to do with either the dfu_util or with the kernel in Oneiric when running in VMware. Also the transfers are quite fast if I use Linux Mint 11 which is based on Oneiric. In this case Mint is native and not running under a VM. I do have the latest and greatest version of VMware. Google has not turned up much at all.
Has anyone else see this issue?
