Bootloader mode from batch file

Hi all, I am trying to get the maple to switch to bootloader mode from a batch file I run from XP command line.

Sequence:
DTR low
DTR high
DTR low

write 1EAF to port

I believe this is the correct sequence or am I missing something? Has anyone managed to do this from the command line?

Try

set port=Com5
mode %port%:RTS=off
mode %port%:DTR=off
mode %port%:DTR=on
mode %port%:DTR=off
echo 1EAF >%port%:
pause

The com port must be between com1 and com9.

Thanks ala42 for the response I tried your suggestion and several variations but noting appears to work from the DOS prompt.

Using realterm I have no problem. I might have to look at a .net solution but it would have been nice to have a simple batch file to launch updates.
