I just got myself a maple board for a project. Coming from Arduino it took me a moment to realize that the outputs/vcc max out at 3.3 volts. I need 5v, and after playing around a bit I found i could get it by sticking a wire in the BAT vertical thing. Is this the recommended way to do it?
Easiest way to get 5v out of Maple?

If you're using VIN higher than 6V, you could use a LM7805 (or switching mode equivalent) to give you a 5V rail, most of the times if you need 5V and you're using USB, just use Vin directly as the jumpers will be configured for that.
