Unused/Unreferenced variable(s) flags (in red) the compiler during upload.
Compiler error/warning message during upload:
-------------------------------------------
Going to build using 'armcompiler' (ARM)
Compiling core...
No libraries to compile.
Compiling the sketch...
In function 'void loop()': <------------- unknown error (in red)
Linking...
Computing sketch size...
-------------------------------------------
I have mention this problem before in another topic:
Link: http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id=117
The code (below) will cause the compiler to indicate "in red" a problem during
the "upload" process.
Note: This compiler error does not show up during the normal compile process.
This problem is more of a nuisance problem because it still allows the code to be uploaded BUT for a newbee it could be confusing.
-----------------------------
Code
void setup() {
}
void loop() {
char i;
//for (;;) //<---------------- insert this code will make the complier error disappear.
//{
//for (i = 0; i < 19; i++)
//{
//}
// }
}

Compiler questions:
#1. Does Leaflabs provide warnings from the compile process?
What color are the warning(s) in?
#2. Can the warnings (if used) be stopped via preference flags?
