Any word on the Mini?

The word from our manufacturer: Maple Mini is estimated to be ready for testing this week!

We're also expecting Maple RET6 Edition (RET not rev!) soon; those should go on sale at the same time as Mini.

Hello-
In another topic I added a hyperlink (to the st.com web site page) which describes the STM32F103RET6 microcontroller.
Here is the hyperlink:

Hope this information helps!

In short: Its 64 LQFP which means future board designs can be more compact than with 144 pin package.

The number of pins is the same as on the current Maple. I think the biggest differences are
512 kB flash, 64 kB SRAM, 2xDAC.

the maple RET6 still uses the 64 pin flat pack (same package as maple). This is really a beta product, responding to the demand we've been getting for that chip. We simply swapped the chip on Maple out for the RET6 chip. The actual new product (yet un-named ... Maple HD (for high density?) will have mods to the silkscreen and other minor hardware changes that actually reflect the new peripherals (like the DACs).
