The Maple description states there are "22 PWM pins at 16-bit resolution", however in the PWN documentation page (http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple/pwm/) it groups the following number of pins to each timer:
Timer 1: 7 pins
Timer 2: 4 pins
Timer 3: 5 pins
Timer 4: 4 pins
= 20 pins
What are the 2 missing pins, and which timers are they controlled by?
I think we've made a mistake, let me confirm before I reply. In QA testing we checked PWM functionality on pins {0,1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,14,24,27,28}, looks like that count might not have been propagated to the docs and description.
Wow, this was a huge mistake on our part. There are only 15 PWM pins (the pins mentioned above); the 4th output compare from Timer1 is on a USB pin. I imagine what happened is that somebody looked through the pin map and counted all timer output pins as PWM capable, which isn't true.
I've updated our documentation and product information... if you purchased a Maple assuming that it had a full 22 pins we're really sorry and would be happy to discuss a work around with you!
