FreeRTOS v8.0 just came out and I would like to use some of its new features with Maple (Event Groups and Task State, for example)...
I'm an arduino-type programmer and doesn't have much experience with porting FreeRTOS, so I copied the files from v8.0 release and modify port.c, portable.h and portmacro.h according to what I see from the libmaple FreeRTOS v7.0 (those !!! Maple code)....
I got to the point where my code compiles with the v8.0 release, but I couldn't get the task running (could be scheduler not running?).. I feel that I'm missing some port setting, but I don't know how much different is it from v.7 to v.8
Has anyone ported FreeRTOS v8.0 to Maple?
