I have recently started working with a maple mini rev. 3 and for some reason it isn't listed under tools > board, on the IDE. I tried any that were close to it but none of them worked. I realize this may be a remedial problem but I've been unsuccessful at trying to remedy it. Keep in mind I'm new to the world of leaflabs and maple; so go easy :P...
Help! Problems uploading a program to my maple mini!

I believe that you need to find an updated IDE. 0.0.12 does not have the rev.3 mini. One of the other uses may be able to offer more constructive help. I know that there is an update just around the corner, but there might be an unreleased version hiding on github or something. :)
I believe that the boards.txt file contains a list of boards and settings, like fuses, and that is what needs to be updated. Likely there are other things that need updating, such as libraries, that take the changes with rev.3 boards into consideration. BTW, simply copying one board and making an entry for the rev.3 within the boards.txt file won't do it. :) Hopefully someone gets you an answer, otherwise I'll poke around when I get home from work.

I cant see any difference in the schematic between the rev3 maple-mini and the maple mini. So the mini should just work.

Phantom,
When you attempt to upload, the tools will compile your code and then attempt to upload to the board. When it is looking for the board (a comment stating looking for DFU device or the like will be in the status box), hit the reset button on your board. This should allow the tools to upload to your unit.

The other option is to put it in perpetual boot loader mode. The easiest way I found to do this is to unplug the device from USB, then plug it in and immediately press and hold the BUT button (Not reset) for 5 seconds when the LED comes on. The LED should continue to flash. Release the button and try uploading again.
