Hello,
I´m sure someone must have tried/done the same already but for such a powerfull, cheap, and widespread device, it´s really hard and confusing to find information about STM32 devices and ther compatibility, use, libraries and examples.
That´s where arduino-like initiatives come into play, and i thank Maple for that.
I own an ST-STM32 STAMP wich has a STM32F103RET6 chip, and would like to use it with MAPLE IDE, as i find it confusing to decide what other compiler to use. Also they all seem too complex and i really hate dealing with registers. Sometimes you just want to be able to make that LED blink without having to explain how all the universe works to the microcontroller first.
I see MAPLE IDE supports that exact chip, but i can´t seem to make it download directly to it.
Does anybody know how to do it with this specific board, or knows where the OUTPUT file from MAPLE IDE is located once it´s generated after you hit that "play" button ?
Once i get the .bin or .hex file, i could upload it to my board using ST´s Flash Loader Demonstrator .
The ST-STM32 STAMP board it programmed via a serial header onboard connect via a DB-9 connector. Not via USB like the Maple, but in the end, it should be the same, right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
