Yesterday NETMF publish 4.2 RTM version.
With a little change work on Maple platform (w/o libmaple and other).
Big plus - you can use Visual Studio (as a best dev ide in world)
Big minus - need a brain to implement .NET to Maple.
Replace RET6 to F200RG6 chip (1Mb flash and 96 RAM) - work perfectly.
So question - may be orient linmaple for .NET (or make it dual for C and for .NET)
Also forgot about poor Arduino IDE compatibility.

How much flash and RAM does the .Net MF 4.2 need?
Can it work on a RET6?
The Netduino uses an AT91SAM7X512 (512KB Flash, 128KB RAM) and it has 60KB RAM free with running NetMF. So it looks like the RET6 is too small...Posted 4 years ago #
