   Hello,

   I managed to used an Xbee module to connect my UAV to the computer, and the serial communication works well.
   I use a battery, so the power jumper is set to EXT.
   Is there a way to program the maple using the XBee module on Serial2 ?

   I still have acces to my board (to press the reset buttonà, but I want to avoid changing the power jumper all the time (beside, my USB wire is too short :) )

   Please tell me there is something I can do.

   you can reprogram the board using Serial1, but not Serial2. however, you'd need to reset it into the serial bootloader to get that done. the setup would be the same as if you were flashing a custom bootloader:

   (i'm assuming you're using a maple)

   i mean that the maple will reset into the baked-in serial bootloader when BOOT0 is high on reset (we tie BOOT1 to ground on maple). one way to ensure that is to follow the bootloader instructions. another is to somehow ensure that BOOT0 will read low, then call a function like nvic_sys_reset() which will reset the chip. check out ST RM0008 and the STM32F103RB datasheet for details on how it works.
