I was looking at the Maple R5 Schematic, and the power supply seems to have changed a little.
The decoupling capacitors C6, C7 and C8 have increased from 0.1uF on R3 to 1uF.
(Less intriguing the main regulator 'reservoir' has reduced from 47uF to 22uF, but I could imagine that is all that is needed?)
I noted that ST Micro Application note AN2586 "STM32F10xxx hardware development"
recommend Nx0.1uF + 10uF, with 0.1uF (100nF) for each power/ground pair of pins.
0.1uF (100nF) is normal practice for any logic IC, so I am a intrigued.
May I ask, what caused you folks to move from 0.1uF to 1uF?
Would you share whatever it is you discovered?
