   This is a real program Maple for STM32VLDiscovery (working by Windows !)

   Package is a modification by the http://sdizdarevic.com/ (added new files, libraries, schematic, fixes errors). This package includes the circuit for OLED display 16x2 and test program (English/Russian). There is a self-contained package, it can be run from any folder on any drive, including flash drives. Package volume 375 MB, 53 MB compressed.

   RSM - Your first link is to something which has no explanation, and can only be downloaded.
   It is 52MB, compressed, so it is not a Maple program, and must instead be run. That has the same properties as a virus.

   The second lnk is to an article which reads like a large add for commercial product. So it doesn't make much sense.

   So your post looks very like SPAM, or a virus spreader.

   Would you please improve the links, so they are understandable and relevant to the post, or remove them?
   Otherwise I feel I need to do something to reduce the risk of spreading a virus, or publishing spam.

   I recommend people do not download a zip-like file unless you understand exactly what the unpacking process involves.

   I recommend people do not run any download unless you understand exactly what it is, trust the source, and know that the file is uncorrupted.

   Link to a first modified package is not a virus, this file is located on GoogleDisk which does not check large files. After unpacking by 7-zip is obtained from 52 to 360 MB.

   The package is not a commercial, has run the executable file maple-ide.exe, has a built-in programmer with files from ST-LINK utility. All copyrights of Leaflabs and sdyzdarevich unchanged. I downloaded the package, everything works fine under Windows. Package free, it can be duplicated elsewhere

   All,

   About five months ago, I posted a question discussing about how to download codes through STM32f100 VL discovery board to the uC on another VL discovery board. With gbulmer's help, I was able to do it successfully.

   Now I am trying to download the codes to a real uC chip(the same one as in the VL discovery board).

   I use the same four wires connecting them to CN2 on the discovery board, removing the two CN3 jumpers, wiring the uC power pin64 to 3.3V and pin63 to GND. JTCK is connected to pin49 and JTMS to pin46.

   Using the Keil with ST-link set to SW mode, it says 'No Cortex-M SW Device Found' in the SW device settings, and 'No target found' when I try to download the codes.

   Any idea what I might have done wrong? Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

   You did connect all power and GND pins of the CPU and do have 100nF caps between them, right ? You also connected the reset pin ?

   Yes, all power and GND are connected accordingly and the reset pin is set to momentary low.

   I also put BOOT0 to low. Is this correct? It looks to me somehow the device can not be found.

   With no valid program flashed it might be safer to put BOOT0 high, so you know a safe program is running (internal boot code) that does not disable the SWD lines. That also allows you to try to flash via USART1.
