I recently came home from an event called Bar Camp Melbourne which is sort of like an unorganised geek conference and what happens on the days usually gets organised in the morning of that day with post it notes (at least that's how this one was run). There are events like these around the world and I'd recommend you check them out if you can. Anyway, I presented about getting started with microcontrollers and thought I'd share with you guys. It's about 34 minutes long but was cut off during Q&A as the camera ran out of space, because I stole the 8GB SD card that was in it for the Raspberry Pi.

Enjoy! And constructive criticism is welcome, there's a few things that I said during that presentation that isn't quite right.
