f is the flash and RAM size, and the 'density group', which means how many peripherals, and what type of peripherals&#60;br /&#62;
s is the surface mount package type, LQFP, BGA, WLCSP&#60;br /&#62;
t is the temperature range the part is specified to operate at&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;STM32F103R8T6 = 64pin (R) and 64KiB Flash/20KiB RAM (8), and is 'Medium-Density' (also due to the 8), LQFP (T),  Industrial temperature range, –40 to 85 °C. (6)&#60;br /&#62;
STM32F103REY7 = 64pin (R) and 512KiB Flash/64 KiB RAM, and is 'High-Density' which has more peripherals than the R8, and has DAC &#38;amp; SDIO (E), WLCSP64 'wafer level' package (Y), 7 = Industrial temperature range, –40 to 105 °C (7)&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The part numbering scheme is documented in the Part Numbering section on the datasheet, e.g.&#60;br /&#62;

&#60;p&#62;(4) I have a maple_mini with STM32F103CBT6 on it. But it's not bought from an official store.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;(5) I guess it should be STM32F103CBT6 without 'R'.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am going to try other developping tools such as coocox, arm-gcc, hoping more free RAMs available for my codes, so the accurate type is needed.&#60;/p&#62;
