Out of curiosty, would a Rowley CrossConnect (with an adapter) work? It follows the standard 20pin JTAG. I had made an adapter to work with the 10pin on the NewMicros.com ARM boards.

cren - Thank you!
I had searched for "ARM-USB-OCD" in forum.leaflabs.com and got nothing - Doh!

Aside:
For anyone looking for it, that URL seems to be slightly broken, it has a ')' on the end, but Olimex directs it to a "notfound", so I was flummoxed for a bit
It is http://www.olimex.com/dev/arm-usb-ocd.html

Olimex is a little awkward to link because of the frames, so an alternative route is
http://www.olimex.com/index.html -> Development Boards -> ARM -> ARM-USB-OCD
to see the alternative (read cheaper:-) JTAGs on the way.

From: http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple/jtag/

We have had good experience with the Olimex ARM-USB-OCD device, which costs about 55 euro plus shipping ( http://www.olimex.com/dev/arm-usb-ocd.html)

In several posts, LeafLabs have written that they use Olimex JTAG with OpenOCD, and that it works well.

Which Olimex JTAG? There are four USB-ARM-JTAG:
ARM-USB-OCD - USB to JTAG + RS232 + power supply for programming and debugging
ARM-USB-TINY - USB to JTAG for programming and debugging
ARM-USB-TINY-H - High Speed USB to JTAG for programming and debugging
ARM-JTAG-EW - fast USB to JTAG for programming and debugging, EW-ARM support

Would you still recommend it, or is there something better or cheaper (or both)?

I'm thinking, if I want to hack on USB, I will need something to help me debug my code.
