Hi lazerath,

Does device manager indicate there has been any problems starting the device when it's in the LibUSB section? Try putting the Maple in Perpetual bootloader mode as described here:
http://leaflabs.com/docs/troubleshooting.html#troubleshooting-perpetual-bootloader

Edu, you can upload a picture here to show us: http://tinypic.com/

I too am having the same errors, I can't get anything to upload to the maple.
[ala42]"Cut and paste the characters of the error message."

Here is the cut and paste of the message:
Searching for DFU device [1EAF:0003]...
dfu-util - (C) 2007-2008 by OpenMoko Inc.
This program is Free Software and has ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY

Couldn't find the DFU device: [1EAF:0003]

I used the same process as describe in the post: [http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id=73#post-788] by Bionic-Badger. When I do this the Maple is temporarly removed from COM27, Place in the LibUsb section of Device manager, then it is place in the Com27 upon uploading, and when the maple goes to reset it is pushed back up to Lib, then back to com27 at which point it fails to upload sketch.

My operating system is: Windows 7[SP1]
Processor: AMD Phenom 2 x4 965 3.4GHZ
Ram: 4 GB
System Type: 64 Bit
Drive space: 4 Terabytes [ :) ]

Any help would be appreciated.

>It appears in the Device Manager Ports (COM & LPT) Maple R3 (COM9), but when I click upload it disappears from the list in device manager and after a few seconds appears again
This is the normal behavior. The virtual com port is closed when the bootloader is running and started again at the startup of your program, so in the windows device manager the virtual comport disappears and reappears after some seconds.

>and the error message is displayed in the compiler. I can not attach a screenshot,
Cut and paste the characters of the error message.

Take this up with micro$oft
.
Most operating systems (Apple, hell, even ORACLE/SOLARIS) adhere to the USB standard and load appropriate drivers when presented with a compliant device.

The driver included with the MapleIDE doesn't work for 64-bit versions of Windows. Check your computer's Device Manager when in Perpetual Bootloader Mode and see if it reports an error. Did you follow this guide?

If you restart your computer do you still have the same problem? Sometimes the Serial Port won't get closed properly which can cause Windows to refuse any program trying to access the port. Have you successfully loaded a sketch on Windows 7 before? Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit windows 7?

Hi,
My device appears as Maple R3 (COM9), when i click upload,
an error message that says:

Reset USB Serial Failed! Did you select the right serial serial port?
Assuming the board is in perpetual bootloader mode and continuing to attempt dfu programming ...
