The Bluetooth low energy library for libmaple is ready and can be pulled into the libmaple repo. What is the best way to get this into libmaple.
The coding guidelines as suggested for libmaple have been followed.
The is based on the https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/ble-sdk-arduino so is Arduino compatible.
We are will place this in the libraries folder and have example programs in the examples/BLE folder. Pull request should be made by tomorrow.

Thanks

Hi gbulmer,

Thank you. I am now working on have the Bluetooth low energy SDK work with libmaple , after that I hope to get libmaple working on a STM32 L1 Series MCU (help on doing that would be really nice), but the next step is the libmaple + Bluetooth low energy SDK

Thanks

Hi,

I have successfully ported the Bluetooth low energy API for the Bluetooth low energy shield to the Maple.

The shield that I used is here
http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/bluetooth-40-low-energy-ble-shield-p-1255.html

The ported source code is available here
https://app.box.com/s/47dh0nk4uu35lxumsuxs (zip file)

Pictures of the connections between the Maple and the Bluetooth low energy Shield
https://app.box.com/s/len0ittvg49bbc12nvqt (jpg file)
https://app.box.com/s/0ae778wndpdara1viy40 (jpg file)

The source code has been tested with the nRF UART app on the iOS store and the nRF UART app on Google play.
https://itunes.apple.com/no/app/nrf-uart/id614594903
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nordicsemi.nrfUART

More details in the Readme in the zip file.

Click upload to Maple and watch the messages from the Bluetooth low energy chip (nRF8001) being printed on the serial monitor (115200 baud).
You can then connect using the nRF UART app and send and recive data.

There is a webinar to get started

Post in the forum if you have any questions.

Thanks
