Thanks I knew I saw that somewhere. Agreed. It should be in the hardware repos.

according to http://leaflabs.com/licensing, the hardware is cc-by-sa licensed, but a COPYING or LICENSE file in each hardware repo wouldn't harm ;-)

Hrrm.

I seem to remember reading that it was open hardware it certainly is freely sourced and worse than that we (suspect devices) have designed and built a derivative around it. https://github.com/soycamo/maplebacon which we have discussed the project openly with leaflabs. We just sold 20 of them to a client. I like their mit/bsd liscensed view of the software and we have assumed that it applied to the hardware as well. In addition their hosting options (github) declares it public. (as does our fork) However. Some clarification might be helpful.

Related, we'd gotten a report that a recent Adobe Reader update on Windows 7 broke our schematic PDFs. Regenerated them from a more recent version of Eagle, which will hopefully fix the problem, but if anyone has issues let us know.

Hi All...

I recently completed a project based on Arduino, using an Atmel 8 bit processor. It went pretty well, but its a bit under powered. I'm looking to learn about ARM hardware and programming. I have many years of software design and development experience, but I am finding all the various ARM derivatives and their tool chains to be overwhelming. Maple seems like an easy way to get into ARM programming.

I see from the web site that the IDE and tools are open source. Is the hardware design as well? If so, where would I find the schematic?

Thanks...
