The only thing you could do is selected all the text and copy it into notepad (Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste). Other serial interface programs can do logging though. Using putty could be an option and would automatically log all data if set up.

Installing the Serial drivers with Windows 7 x64 isn't as straight forward due to some problems. You'll need to follow these instructions in this post:
http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id=73#post-788

Afterwards, ensure the Serial Port as seen in Device Manager matches the one selected in the IDE. The Serial Monitor should then work. I personally don't use the Serial Monitor built into the IDE and use putty to monitor the Serial Port. It is possible to have it so Windows requires a restart if the serial port won't open, which has occurred to me previously.

It sounds like the driver for the DFU hasn't been installed which is causing problems. When it is in perpetual bootloader mode, can you go to the Device Manager and see if it comes up with the device? If not, follow these instructions to install the DFU drivers:
http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple-ide-install.html#maple-ide-install-windows

Is that Windows 7 64-bit?

thanks for reply. I have used it on both xp and win 7. First I reset the board LED start flashing fast and then a few times slow before stopping. When I am in perpetual bootloader mode, LED is continuosly blinking. System detects it when it is in perpetual bootloader mode. It seems my board is working fine but when I try to upload a code, it always show me the same error that DFU device couldn't find.

Hi there,

We'll need more information to be able to help you further. What operating system are you using? Is the LED blinking when you try to put it into perpetual bootloader mode?

When you try to boot it into perpetual bootloader mode, are you pressing the BUT button (it will have BOOT0 next to it for your flymaple) after letting go of reset? Is the LED flashing when you reset the board?
