			<description>&#60;p&#62;glad its working. As a side note, the ttyACM/serial port will not appear if your code is corrupt or halted (mem fault or similar), you have disabled the USB interrupts, or you are pereptual bootloader mode. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thankfully, reprogramming using the IDE (aka using dfu-util) should always work from perpetual bootloader mode, no serial port required. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The serial port is only used for user-side communication (SerialUSB.print) and to reset the board into bootloader mode for programming.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;Hello together&#60;br /&#62;
I uploaded a sketch using the wrong board setting on my mini and now it is bricked. no way to get an ACM device any more. I am using ubuntu 32 bit. I can get it into perpetual bootloader mode but even then: no ttyACM appears. Do I have to re-burn the bootloader using a ftdi breakout. I have one but on which pins should I connect it?&#60;/p&#62;
