Hey Amir,

External interrupts are a pretty recently integrated feature, so if you've been away for a while, doing a "$ git pull" from your LIB_MAPLE_HOME should solve your problems (as I recall, you use the Unix toolchain, no?).

As for docs, here you go:

I just wanted to say congrats as well! I was really happy when I got support from you when I had problems with shipping my maple. And then I found a bug, and you guys of course fixed it. Just recently I started working full time and I have little to no time to play with my board and that's why I'm not active on the forums as much as I want to be.

The last time I played with my maple I was trying to use my IR receiver module and external interrupts with no luck. I'm not sure if it was me, or a bug, I have to test it a bit more before posting anything on the forums. Anyways, it would be nice to have some docs on external interrupts :)

Tomorrow? AWESOME!

Been looking forward to the v0.0.7 release! Hoping to get my maple R3 flying soon (LITERALLY) using SPI, I2C and PWM plus more. Also need to figure out whether my ADXL345 is currently faulty.

LeafLabsAndy:

Thanks from the entire team for saying such a nice thing. We're really excited about making Maple (and its relatives!) the best ARM microcontroller platform out there, and couldn't have asked for a more supportive/awesome group of people to make it for. You guys are the best.

Stephen:

I got distracted today (more on that in an hour or so, in another forum post), and so 0.0.7 didn't come out tonight, which was my original plan. But yes! I've been doing a bunch of overdue code cleanups in libmaple in preparation for the 0.0.7 release, which I declare will be out by day's end tomorrow (of course, us being hackers, "day's end" means dawn).

Tuesday September 28, 2010

Hello,

During the last few days there has been a lot of activity on github in the /libmaple and /wirish directories. Thanks Marti.

Does this mean the Maple-0.0.7-IDE alpha will soon be released?

I am looking forward to testing micros() and the stability of the functions inside "string.h":

http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id=86&page=2#post-1420

Thanks.

Congratulations to all the team members of Leaflabs.

I thought this day would never come!

With the external interrupts and "soft" I2C completed, a major milestone has been reached...IMHO. This makes "The Maple" as a mainstream Arduino compatible ARM microcontroller. I realize that other libraries and modules are in the process of completion but the basic commands and functions are now finished. Many others have failed (see below for the ARM junk available) but the Leafblowers are a cut above the rest in their software and hardware development efforts for "The Maple". It took the Arduino team 5 years what the Leaflabs leafblowers did in a short period of time.

You see, other ARM boards/stamps like MBED, Xduino, Cortino, GHI's FEZ, Cobra, Domino, Rhino,Mini & Panda all have short comings like high cost, software that can only be used online or uses Microsoft's dot net framework junk. None of them, except for the defunct Xduino, ever hadthe Arduino's easy to use commands and functions.

Again, a job well done !!!!
