This is the 1 amp 805 package I found that is over the 900 ma charging rate and maby would power everything else if the USB source powered it.

The computer fuse is proably lower maby the powered usb hub has more power output that is made out of spec or they don't have a fuse because it was cheaper.

MF-PSMF050X-2

2.2amp is the one I looked at for right next to the - neg lead on the battery.

resetable polyfuse- should one of these be on the maple and what one would work well with a Li-pol battery I found this one in mouser and am thinking of strapping it to my design.

the fuse I decided on because the data sheet for the battery said
"Over Current Protection: 1.8 - 3.0A" & "Rated for 2.1A Hold Current @ 25°C"

now for the usb port what value would be sugjested? 500ma like the arduino uno because it charges the battery etc.

Here are the charging specs for this battery :
"Recommended charge rate is 450mA to 4.2V in a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C. Hold at 4.2V until current declines to 90mA. Maximum charge rate is 900mA @ 20°C±5°C."

resetable fuse
