Maple software: svn r110
Success: compiling, linking and downloading via GUI ("Arduino 18"), blinkenlights

Im working on the windows side virtual com port. Not sure what the problem is yet. Anyone have any ideas? Also, serial1 is not the same as usb, and usb also requires an extra

HardwareUsb Usb;

declaration as the top of the sketch. Then Usb.read()/print...whatever should work - at least in linux.

Greetings all,

IMHO, it would be helpful for people who've gotten their Maple board working (running a program, even a trivial one) would post the specifics of what has worked for them, including their setup (O/S, svn version and gui/command-line.)

As the proposer, I'll lead off:

Computer: Dell Vostro 1500, running Ubuntu, v. 9.04

Maple software:
svn v 92 (initial success)
compiling, linking and downloading via GUI ("Arduino 18")

-

Latest: svn v. 110
Same host, O/S, and compile method.

Works fine; no change except for an svn update.
Note: The code size (Maple->Flash) with v.110 is substantially smaller than with svn v 92.
Using svn v110, the code size is 4984 bytes, this is much smaller than I got with svn v92 (13000+ bytes, if I'm recalling correctly.)
