According to the document at http://www.st.com/stonline/products/literature/rm/13902.pdf, the STM32F10xxx embeds internal pull-ups and pull- downs on JTAG input pins: "The JTAG IEEE standard recommends to add pull-ups on TDI, TMS and nTRST but there is no special recommendation for TCK. However, for STM32F10xxx, an integrated pull-down is used for JTCK. Having embedded pull-ups and pull-downs removes the need to add external resistors." See page 1031 and 1032.

Am I mistaken?

Can you please tell which of the pins require the pull up?

Thanks

you need some pullups on the JTAG lines as well.

Is it a simple pin remapping? Or need to put some resistors in or something? I figure a some headers, perfboard and misc. parts are all I need for JTAG?

Theres a less than useful doc here:
http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple/jtag/

Ill put up a real schematic soon, i dont know wtf that drawing on there is supposed to be. We dont have any plans on selling adapters. Our assumption was that if you were using JTAG you probably had your own rig.

Once the new boards (mini, native, oak) come on sale well probably be a lot more likely to add extra accessory style items to the store (jtag, usb, shield kits, etc).

Folks,

I know there are posts on the board re. the connector on the Maple board NOT being compatible with the connector on the JLink-edu. Is there adapter for sale to help with this issue, and if so where do I buy it?

Thanks,

Randy
