allo jessb, thank you for responding. yeah, i am specifically looking for one of the ultra-low-cost STM32Fs for an "Open Firmware" controller in an open hardware laptop, to manage the mouse, keyboard, battery, backlight etc. etc. porting the software from the OLPC's OpenEC project http://wiki.laptop.org/go/OpenEC

yeah checking it's no problem :) however hmmm... do you know what the costings are like on the F4 part (and how many pins is it?) oh, and are you doing the schematics using kicad?

tia,

l.

Woops, sorry about that, I pushed it into hardware-lib. Please note that the MapleHD design is totally deprecated since we decided to move to the F4 line instead (I should probably get rid of that repo entirely), though it seems you just wanted the schematic part and weren't actually interested in the rest of the design, though, correct? Also keep in mind that we've never actually manufactured a board using that schematic part sooo you might want to double check it for errors!

hi folks,

i'm looking to create various open hardware products based around using the STM32F, as part of the http://rhombus-tech.net initiative, and one of the reasons why is because you guys did the leaflabs hardware as kicad free software schematics (hurrah!)

so i git cloned maplehd, got the hardware-lib etc. and whoops! the STM32F103RE is missing from leaf.lib (and st-microelectronics.lib but you probably didn't add it to that).

any chance someone could do the necessary, push the design for STM32F103RE to github? greatly appreciated.

l.
