AFAIK the only two 'complaints' are:
1. It is awkward to get the character sequence backslash zero ('\\' followed by '0', or '') into a post.
2. Spammers accounts could be automatically blocked when an admin rejects a post as spam.

Summary: It seems like a lot of effort to fix those two issues, so I agree with mlundinse.

I would like to see a version of libmaple with existing bug fixes applied, then the Maple IDE with the newer launchpad version of embedded gcc.

Yeah,

Good new forum software is always nice, but main focus should be on software,
hardware and community support.

Regards
Magnus

This caught my eye: http://www. discourse.org

Concerns:
- would need custom import code to transfer from bbPress
- JS UI might not fallback well for simple/accessible user agents (lynx, wget, etc)
- might need custom code for redirects (vs. a static file dump of existing posts)
- we probably have more pressing concerns than upgrading forum software (eg, accepting libmaple/IDE bug patches)
