Hi crenn,

I'm aiming to merge in hardware i2c support by the end of this month. The initial merge will probably be only a c level api; a c++ "wirish" version should come later when I have more spare cycles.

Heh, yes I did mean software release. Currently, I'm working with a few I2C devices. I'm hoping to be able to get the I2C hardware working to free up some CPU time. But at this stage, it's not that important.

you mean software release? the hardware always supported it ;)

I cant tell you if its going to be the next snapshot or an upcoming snapshot release, but keep an eye out for it.

Will the next hardware release also include hardware I2C support?

This snapshot also fixes some broken examples, notably Maple > InteractiveTest.

The SerialUSB improvements that were merged into the master libmaple branch have been incorporated into the IDE. Snapshots are available (no 64-bit Linux yet; I hadn't gotten around to making a 64 bit VM to compile dfu-util in, but will resolve that issue soon):

Linux (32-bit):
http://static.leaflabs.com/pub/leaflabs/maple-ide/snapshots/maple-ide-snapshot-2011-02-13-%5Bgit-1780be0264%5D-linux32.tgz

OS X:
http://static.leaflabs.com/pub/leaflabs/maple-ide/snapshots/maple-ide-snapshot-2011-02-13-%5Bgit-1780be0264%5D-macosx-10_6.dmg

Windows XP:
http://static.leaflabs.com/pub/leaflabs/maple-ide/snapshots/maple-ide-snapshot-2011-02-13-%5Bgit-e938d1765a%5D-windowsxp32.zip

There've been some issues lately with the built-in serial monitor; if you get bad behavior, try using something like PuTTY, HyperTerminal, screen, or minicom. Working on fixing this as well.

The next snapshot release will include a 64 bit Linux version, as well as basic DMA support and miscellaneous other improvements and bugfixes to libmaple.
