Forgive me if this question sounds stupid...my knowledge of electromagnetism is next to nothing. I have a maple mini encased inside a plastic disc and I need this disc to adhere to a surface: the disc will need to be detached from time to time. I am thinking about using either velcro or magnets to keep the disc in place (the disc is light...no more than 3 pounds). I am leaning towards using magnets to keep the disc in place because I do not have to be so precise in putting the disc back on the surface: the magnets will pull things together. While I understand that magnets are a no-no for any magnetic device, I do not think it will affect the Maple Mini. Am I correct? Or should I just stick to velcro? Thanks! :) </p>
