Which IDE version are you using? Does the Serial Port appear in the Device Manager located in the Control Panel?
Have you set the Board in the Tools menu to be "Leaflabs Maple Mini Rev 2 to Flash"?
Are you using the sample Blink program or have written your own? If so, can you do a pastebin of the code and post a link here for us to see?

Yes I did.

And successfully install and the whole DFU driver has been recognized.

The main thing is that the IDE sees the Maple Mini and the IDE says the program downloaded successfully.

but the board just doesn't run.

Did you use the instructions here to install the DFU drivers?

http://forums.leaflabs.com/topic.php?id=73#post-788

The commonly asked questions thread at the top of these forums contains this (although doesn't mention Vista, I'll fix that shortly). Most likely the problem is the DFU driver isn't being accepted by Vista, follow the instructions in the link above and should allow you to upload your code. If that doesn't work, let me know and we'll assist you further.

I am totally new to Maple.

I just brought home a new Maple Mini.

I have followed every step to install the drivers and IDE.

So, the driver is installed; Windows Vista 64x recognizes the device; the IDE downloads the program successfully thru using perpetual bootloader mode, but my sample program 'Blink' doesn't work.

What had gone wrong?
