Ha, the last chance exception handler. Nice. I read that I can connect at 9600 to USART2 to read the debug information. So this should give enough to analyze the problem. Thanks for the pointer ventosus.

Sounds like you're experiencing the LED throb. That's how libmaple tells you that a serious error happened, e.g. your sketch crashed by an invalid memory access, unsucessful ASSERT, ...

The code you're looking for most probably is this one:
https://github.com/leaflabs/libmaple/blob/master/libmaple/util.c

Once in a while my Olimexino-STM32 does not properly boot after downloading a sketch. The green LED shows a pulsating flash about once per second. What does this error code mean, and what library generates this LED control?

I searched SDFatLib, and spi files, but I cannot find any LED control in there.

The LED gradually increases in intensity, and then decreases, like a dimmer sketch.

It happens in a logger application, and it is related to the SDCard. When I take out the SDCard, reinsert it and press reset, it boots normally. When in this error state, no connection can be made with SerialUSB.

Any thoughts?

regards,
SevenW
