works fine on a 64bit ArchLinux with a Maple Mini. Additionally to the 32-bit libs needed for the unix-toolchain, I had to manually install 'lib32-libusb' and 'lib32-libusb-compat' to get the shipped 32-bit dfu-util running.

I've posted a (sort of) 64bit version of the Maple IDE:

http://static.leaflabs.com/pub/leaflabs/maple-ide/maple-ide-0.0.12-linux64.tgz

and updated our installation documentation:

http://leaflabs.com/docs/maple-ide-install.html

I haven't tested with Fedora, but the instructions should be very similar. See our newest UNIX toolchain docs for Fedora commands:

https://github.com/leaflabs/leaflabs-docs/blob/master/source/unix-toolchain-linux-setup.rst

As noted in the instruction docs, the GCC toolchain is the same old 32bit executable, so 32bit system libraries must be installed to run them on 64bit platforms.

There are absolutely no differences between the linux32 and linux64 tarballs other than 64bit versions of the RXTX .jar and .so files, and none of the previously existing v0.0.12 IDE downloads were modified at all (eg, none of them link to the 64bit download from the bundled documentation). I hope this makes it easier for folks (like me!) to get the IDE up and running on 64bit platforms.

Success or failure, please post your experience!
